Before Primrose Lodge I worked at a girls school in the kitchen for 7 years.
What do you like about your job?
I like my job because of the variety of foods you get to cook.
What are your specialties as a chef?
Meals and puddings and also cake baking.
If you were being executed tomorrow, what would be your last meal?
If I was being executed I would like a crunchy French stick with ham and butter, I do like bread.
How often is the menu updated and do you take feedback from the residents when changing the menu?
we regularly speak to the residents to see if they would like to change the menus and ask for their suggestions.
What is your favourite dish to cook at work and why?
My favourite meal to cook at work is a roast dinner. All the residents enjoy it, especially the roast potatoes.
You're stranded on a desert island. What five foods would you want with you? What would you make?
If I was stranded on a desert island I would have to take coffee and toast with me.
What is your favourite local restaurant to eat at?
If I go out to eat I like to go to an Italian restaurant for pizza or pasta.
What is the most essential item in your kitchen?
My most essential item in my kitchen at home is a large frying pan/wok
