Our Managerial Staff at Primrose Lodge

Anita

Anita Collier - Manager

I started in care about 20 years ago, I never expected to choose this career path, but ever since I began I haven’t looked back. Seeing someone smile makes every day worth it. Achieving the best outcome for our residents is what makes my job so rewarding. I am so proud of the staff at Primrose Lodge, they are dedicated, passionate and caring, we are like family. Our team provides exceptional, high-quality care, with plenty of laughter and fun along the way. We believe that the people are what makes a place, so here at Primrose, we have formed a wonderful team that makes the place thrive.

As the Manager of Primrose Lodge, I oversee everything that goes on around the home, ensuring that the residents are flourishing and the team are well and caring with excellence. Also, I work behind the scenes to get the home the recognition it deserves, always looking to improve in whatever ways we can.

Fran Fitzgerald - Deputy Manager

I started in care around 11 years ago, I couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else because I love working with the elderly and making a difference in their daily life. We have a great team of staff who go above and beyond for all residents at Primrose Lodge. We are a big family and enjoy working together as part of a team. I achieved my level 5 in health and social care which has given me more confidence within my job role as Deputy Manager. Now I strive to make Primrose Lodge a better place and an even greater family with each passing day so that each person at Primrose feels well cared for and at home.

Staff Training

We are proud to utilise the expertise of Affinity Training and eLearning For You to ensure our staff maintain the highest levels of care possible. It also ensures we comply with Care Quality Commission requirements. eLearning For You is a national training company, with experience of delivering a wide range of training courses for care home staff and workers in the care sector. They deliver their training through three different training platforms:
